Darwen Gala

3.7 miles, with 930 feet of climb, starting and finishing in Bold Venture Park, Darwen.

The route climbs directly to Darwen Tower and completes a short loop on Darwen Moor, including a second climb, before descending directly to the finish. The whole of the route is on paths, which are clear but rough in places.

The course is partially marked and marshalled; local knowledge or navigational skills may be required. Entry on the day only, £3.50.

The race is held under FRA rules, race category BS.
